FAQs

Writing and publishing can sometimes feel like inventing the wheel. Surely, someone somewhere has the answers for what you’re puzzling over? Well, rejoice, here you are…
This space contains an ever-increasing list of answers, from people who've been there before. We won’t delete any questions, we'll just keep adding them on. Some will have many answers, and those answers may conflict. But that only proves that if there were just one truth in publishing, we’d all write the same book - and how boring would that be?
Unfortunately what we can’t do is take a look at manuscripts or work in progress. We’d like to, but we’re too busy working on our own. However, some of our members offer this as a commercial service and would only be too happy to help. You can find out who (and how to contact us) in the "Will you read my novel?" question.
If you have a question you would like to see answered here, please contact us with the words "New FAQ" in the title of your email.
